I wrote a email on behalf of a victim to a media journalist. I did this because I believe it was the right thing to do. CLICK ON THE SCREEN SHOT ABOVE.

I would would like the system reform for future generations. Instead of donating money to the CA$, I say give money and donate money to the Black Ribbon Gold Hear Campaign or the Protecting Canadian Children Group.

There are ribbons for almost every cause you can think of. Many of these causes, in the past that, had little support or even open hostility towards them, because of ignorance, suspicion, and fear. AIDS is one that comes to mind, and even cancer. I believe parents, that have become ensnared in the all too powerful, unaccountable, and non-transparent machinery of 'Child Protection Services' are that last group, that needs a voice and public support. As with groups in the past, there is a lot of stigma, suspicion (from a society that blindly trusts certain 'corporations', assuming that people who lose their children must have deserved it or have done something wrong) even hatred and criticism, from people who do not have the 'whole story'.

BLACK RIBBON/GOLD HEART (BRGH)

A symbol for many parents worldwide grieving for their children taken wrongfully by child 'protection' agencies, and also calling for Child Protection Reform.

The black ribbon symbolizes how non transparent that child protection agencies the world over are in dealing with the public.
It symbolizes the corruption in family court where a parent can't get a fair trial.

The gold heart is a symbol of a parent's love for a child who is unnecessarily removed by these agencies, and quite often is abused or even dies in foster care or group homes.
The gold heart is for the love that never dies, and the HOPE that justice will prevail and the children returned.
Also for present or former foster children, former group home or crown wards speaking out about the abuse they experienced.
Why wear a black ribbon with a gold heart? To SUPPORT and promote public awareness of the families hurting from the wrongful actions of the Child Protection Agencies.

I have personally have chosen to express my own grief and loss at what the group homes and CAS has done to my family and I, and also other families around the globe, by wearing a black ribbon with a gold heart. I was abused prior to and while in foster hell.
